FATHER'S DAY BLOOM STYLE!

So blessed to have this man not only as my husband and best friend but also as such an amazing father to our 3 kids :) We had a great father's day - Started of the day at church with such a wonderful message by Andy and Sandra Stanley - I love them both and they truly are amazing role models. Then nothing like a good bucket of KFC chicken and coleslaw on a hot summers day. Marcus planted his cucumber plants - since he will be making homemade pickles - well at least he is hoping to :) The afternoon was followed by watching some golf - sad that our Philly did not win, yes that is what we call Phil Mickelson at our home, but still loved watching it. Then Julia tended to daddy while Megan and I made an italian dinner with a homemade fruit triffle filled with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. We laughed at lot making this dessert since it was Megan and I's first time make homemade angel food cake - we now know how much it makes and how much it overflows! It truly was a great day and so glad we got to honor and bless our daddy a little.

OK, OK, OK........I KNOW!

It is amazing how when you try to remember to blog how quickly life gets in the way to do it. Alot has happened since the last blog time. Sweet girls are out on summer vacation which means pool, mosquito bites, grilling and lots of fun with no strict night scheduels. I got a promotion at work which has been such a blessing! "He's such a good man" is working hard and starting to reap some awesome benefits :) Son, well son is just continueing to guard the house from all the killer squirrels, assist dad at work and protect his mama! I just love the summer. I love coming home and having the girls there to cuddle on and just spend time with them without all the hustle and bustle that school brings.
